I often talk about failure.

In fact, my whole book is about it.

I tell the honest story about a company I started in which I worked for six years and I didn't work.

For years, failure was a taboo.

No one wanted to share it, and no one wanted to hear it.

Nowadays, everyone is talking about failure.

I often hear that you don't learn anything from success, you only learn from failure.

I think that's also an exaggeration.

That's not true.

It’s very easy to fall into extremes.

Yes, failure teaches us a lot.

But success also carries some valuable lessons.

Look at Thomas Edison.

He is famous for trying 1000 times.

Every time he failed, he learned something. When he got it right, he learned something he could replicate.

It’s so obvious to me that there is value in success.

I can't even believe I'm writing this.

Nothing is linear.
The truth is not all-or-nothing.

We learn from both failures and succes stories.

We need to pay attention to both.

What do you think? Did your most valuable lesson come from failure or success?
