Talk about your failures

Everyone says we should talk more about failure.
Barely anyone actually does.

Why? Because it’s uncomfortable.

We think being vulnerable makes us look weak.

We’ve been taught to only share the success story.

When I wrote Crash Course, I didn’t want to sugarcoat my journey. I wanted to tell the real story.

Why? 2 Reasons.

1. It was my story

2.  That’s the story most of us entrepreneurs share and that at the same time seems invisible.

Being honest about failure helps other founders feel less alone in it, and this is why what Sophie Spitzer said here means a lot to me.

If you’ve been through it, you know how real that is.

So, talk about your failures.

Don’t sugarcoat it. And don’t add unnecessary drama.

Just speak your truth. Openly and honestly.
